What is SkillsForward?
SkillsForward by Kiron supports refugees and migrants to gain the AI and human skills needed to succeed in a changing world of work. The program is supported through LinkedIn’s Future of Work Fund, LinkedIn’s signature philanthropic program focused on expanding economic opportunities for professionals overcoming barriers.
Is the program online?
Yes, all courses and live sessions are online. You only need a device and a stable internet connection to participate.
What happens after I apply?
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes, you will receive LinkedIn certificates upon course completion.
How much time do I need for the learning pathways?
Set aside at least 2 hours per week for 9 weeks. Time can also vary based on familiarity with the topics and English level.
What do I need to do to complete the program successfully?
You need to take the courses, create a final project, and attend the two live sessions.
When will the learning pathways start?
Two cohorts: January 12, 2026, and April 13, 2026.
I already applied to other Kiron programs. May I sign up for this program as well?
Of course! You may apply to more than one program as long as you have enough time and motivation to balance the workload efficiently.
No. The minimum B1 level requirement is to have a reference for what you need to follow the learning content. If you are unsure about your level, you can take a placement test using free online tools, eg, Cambridge English Assessment.
