We updated our legal name, not our purpose. Everything you rely on from Kiron continues exactly as before.

Our mission remains the same. Making quality education accessible to everyone, everywhere – for people whose paths to learning are blocked by circumstance.

Our team remains the same. The same dedicated people you already know remain in place, carrying forward the work and the relationships you trust.

Reflecting who we are today

When Kiron was founded in 2015, our focus was on opening access to higher education for refugees and displaced learners. Since then, our work has evolved.


Today, we deliver digital skills training, career readiness programs, employability initiatives, and support people with refugee and migration backgrounds to access opportunities in education and the labor market.


Our new legal name better reflects the breadth of our work today while staying true to the mission that has guided us from the beginning.

2015

Kiron founded to make higher education accessible to refugees and displaced learners.

2018–2021

Programs expand into skills, language, and career-focused learning pathways.

2025 – 10 years

A broad education organization supporting diverse learners and partners worldwide.

I'm a partner or donor. Do I need to do anything?

Future contracts and official documentation should use Kiron Education gGmbH. Existing agreements remain valid. If any updates are needed, we'll contact you directly.
